With the holidays upon us, I wanted to do a last minute Holiday Nail Colors Look Guide with some of my favorite looks to rock on this season. Who says the holidays are about dark colors?, rather than shine and glitter! You’ll see a lot of that coming up.

And after a long and stressful two weeks of finals, I've finally finished the semester and you know what that means- finish every blog post that is draft! And this one is one of them.

This year San Juan Moda was actually held at the Caribe Hilton and Paseo Caribe instead of El Hotel San Juan. I actually found it to be a better location to host the event, do to that the other hotel I find it to be uncomfortable and it lacks of space, plus the way the runway was placed here this year let everyone see perfectly the models from every angle, unlike previous shows. 

After working for one of the shows, I actually got to see two of the last ones Bienteveo en el Mar and Lisa Thon. In Bienteveo en el Mar the collection screamed Tropical using a lot of green, coral and gold. Lots of cover ups and bikinis that, although they were simple, they had an elegant and chic
touch.

Next was Lisa Thon’s show displaying her beautiful and extensive collection Habitat. Showing us lots of pinks, gold, red and flamingos? Yes, but they actually blended well into the collection, it was a nice touch to add. From swimsuits to formal long dresses, this collection had it all and it played with a variety of textures and bling that really catch our attention. Overall I was surprised at how many pieces the designer came out with, comparing it to previous shows. A beautiful, elegant and playful designs, great for what next year holds for us.   

I’m excited to see what this next season will bring. By the looks of it, it’s sure going to be a fun and colorful one.
